The International Research Center (USP-CNRS), located at the University of São Paulo's Butantã campus, was launched in 2023.
Since then, the project has united researchers from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in France and the University of São Paulo (USP) to enhance collaboration between Brazil and France in addressing emerging socio-ecological challenges.
Key focus areas include:
CHAINS: Collaborative Hub for Advancing Innovative and Sustainable Software Supply chains;
SYNERGY: Computer Science and Automation together to create Techno-Human systems (formely FEAST: Foundations for Effective Autonomous SysTems);
Megalopolis: Sustainable Megalopolises for Humans, and
UNBIAS: argUmentation and Norm Based Intelligent AgentS.
In the second year of the USP-CNRS partnership, we are focused on strengthening collaboration between researchers in Brazil and France, while also actively pursuing additional funding opportunities.
